Once a year, a cigar is rolled in Jalapa that forgives nothing. The Final Act Lancero Imperial®, Uno de Mil returns this Q4, one thousand numbered boxes of ten, each one certified and signed by founder Iván Gancedo before it leaves the valley.
At 8½ by 38, the Lancero Imperial® is among the most demanding formats a torcedor can be asked to roll. An Ecuador Habano wrapper over a Sumatra binder, undisclosed Nicaraguan filler, medium in strength and ninety minutes or more in the smoking.
Every year's lot carries its own consistent and quiet character, shaped by the leaf that earned its place that season. Priced at $50, it remains Dominium's clearest statement of what the house considers honest: nothing hidden, nothing rushed, nothing added to meet demand.
Dominium Society members receive first right to this year's lot, followed by selected retail partners chosen with the same care as the leaf itself.
"When the year's lot is gone, it is gone," says Gancedo. "Nothing is made to meet demand."
